I'm running Git version 1.6.5.1. The binary is sitting in /usr/local/git/bin. Is there an easy way to update to the latest version? External webcam for mac.

The other major way is to install Git via MacPorts
(http://www.macports.org). If you have MacPorts installed, install Git

I found the easiest option to be to download directly from Git's website:
